Locally renowned artist Lane Tutor will offer a landscape painting class through the Northwest Mississippi Community College Division of Continuing Education, according to Patricia Lowder continuing education coordinator. The class will be held on Thursdays, Jan. 22- Feb. 26 from 6-8 p.m. in the Art Building, Room 205 on the Senatobia campus.

Demonstration and instruction on landscape painting will be provided in multimedia, including tempera, watercolor and oil, using various surfaces, such as paper and canvas. Students should bring any supplies they have to the first session and a suggested list of suppliers will be provided at that time.

Tutor, who recently retired from the Northwest faculty, is well-known in the area for his paintings and pottery.
