The new criteria on this page will apply to the fall 2017 applicants that are requesting admission for January 2018. This new criteria does not include those already admitted into the Fall 2017 incoming class.
There will be information sessions for prospective students to come and learn more about the Nursing program on July 16th, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. and August 3rd, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. No appointment is necessary. The sessions will be held in the Nursing building on the Senatobia campus.

Northwest Mississippi Community College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award the Associate of Arts degree, the Associate of Applied Science degree, and certificates in career education. The College was initially accredited by the Mississippi Junior College Accrediting Association in 1928 and by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools in December 1953. The latest reaffirmation of the SACSCOC accreditation was in 2007. The college is also a member of the American Association of Community Colleges. The Associate Degree Nursing program was initially accredited by the National League for Nursing in 1978 and has maintained that accreditation. Required Textbooks — All students in the nursing program will receive their required nursing textbooks with a fee charged along with tuition. This will be at a discounted rate-cheaper than you can purchase at the bookstore or online and will include all access codes needed. Buying books on your own will not be an option-the fee will be charged based on the course you are taking. The only exception will be for repeaters that show proof of purchase of required books/access codes from the previous semester.
